We are very pleased to announce that our group show will be held at The Copperhouse Gallery in Dublin on May 29th and 30th. Our opening will be on the evening of May 29th and we hope you can join us. Here we are planning all the details over some chocolate cakes.
Working at Rathfarnham Castle
We held a creative meeting at Rathfarnham Castle on 16th of November – to share our progress for our 2020 exhibition and to enjoy and study the exhibition there. It was really terrific. Thank you very much to Eoin and all of the staff at the castle for hosting us. The exhibition is called Over Nature and runs until December 21st.
Creative workshop
At our first creative meeting for our 2020 exhibition held in September 2019 – we had some fun exploring the theme ‘Trip the light Fantastic’ – it was a benefit that the shadows in the room added to the drama – and we found hoops in the cupboard. Working in a collective gives everyone a chance to model, participate or observe.
Artists L9 Exhibition ‘Ground’
Artists L9 launched their collective Exhibition, ‘Ground’ at MLV Studios on Thursday, 30th May 6pm – 8pm.
“The Ground swelled up and spoke of that below
And we kneeled – to listen- so that we should know”
‘Ground’ is an exhibition that explores our relationship to permanence and place. The ground may represent this apparent stability. Throughout human history the ground has taken symbolic and spiritual forms, in recognition of its importance in our collective consciousness. It is a place of birth, protection and nourishment, belonging and our place of death. It is the constant beneath our feet. Yet it is fragile, subject to natural forces and human exploitation. This fragility can lead us to question ourselves, our place, our beliefs. The artists in this exhibition explore the curiosity that arises when we acknowledge this vulnerability.
The Exhibition runs from 30th May until 2nd June, 2019
Trip to EVA Limerick Biennial

Sinéad, Jenny and Daniela on a day trip to Irish Biennial in Limerick. A great art experience with plenty of Irish and international artists’ works exhibited over four different venues. Especially interesting the Cleeve’s Condensed Milk Factory venue with large scale installation and video installation works by, among others, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Isabel Nolan, Sam Keogh, Laurent Grasso, John Gerrard. Some amazing artworks very difficult to see in person if not at one of the big art events. Very good job by the organizers to bring this to Limerick and Ireland.
‘Beneath the Surface’ exhibition a great success
